Sukkah is a nomadic Jewish tradition of building a transitional home. Traditionally, every year, during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot (usually celebrated around October), a temporary home is built. For my Sukkah installation, this alternative ‘home’ structure was constructed of palm trees, wood, and plastic and featured audio clips of nature sounds.
